2010 - A New Decade For Casino Hire

As any professional business, we're starting a new decade full of hope for a better year than last year, and also full of enthusiasm for the new decade.
In looking back over the last ten or more years and reviewing our growth from just one blackjack table to forty tables, offering roulette, blackjack, dice, Texas Hold 'Em, Wheel of Fortune, Stud Poker, theming and other party supplies.
We have seen the casino hire business change dramatically. Like any other business, there is more competition as new operators have emerged, and this has meant significant changes to those who have supplied casino hire services to clients over the last ten to twenty years.
Personally, we have seen greater loyalty from existing clients, with lots of repeat business. Thank you to all our regular clients as you have helped us weather the storm of the downturn.
There have been price wars, but as Mike Southern, who writes about entrepreneurship in the Saturday Financial Times says, 'lowering prices can be perceived by prospective clients as lowering the quality and value of what you have to offer. Those that lower prices in desperation often cannot provide the goods, or will take on new business in place of yours if the price is greater then the one they agreed with you'.
He is right, we believe that we offer a far superior service to some of the new kids on the block, and those looking for price alone should be aware of this. The lower the price, the greater the risk.
Never like any time before have we been contacted last minute, literally a couple of hours beforehand, from clients who have been let down by their casino hire company. These unreliable casino hire companies are not run as businesses quite clearly and have no thought for the disapointment that their failing to show causes clients and their guests.
On some occasions we have been able to respond swiftly and replaced these 'rogue' operators, however, on other occasions, the time frame has been a matter of an hour or two, so that there was nothing that we could do.
My advice to the prospective casino hire booker is to be careful who you choose, as the company you make a contract with needs to be fully insured, provide a good administrative service as well as well as on the actual day at your event.
Never pay an operator cash and always get a receipt for any payment made.
Look at the contract - there are rogue operators who have copied the contents of our contract verbatim, as indeed the look and design of our website.
Are you able to speak to a real person, or are you always answered by a robot who will transfer your call to a voicemail.
Are there testimonials on the website?
And finally, give your operator a call at least one day in advance of your event to make sure that they are going to turn up - and if they let you down, give us a call and we'll have time to sort out a better fun casino for you altogether! :-)
Booking a fun casino for your event entertainment should be a simple and happy process from start to finish.
